Man tried bringing BB gun on plane at Bradley International Airport: TSA
A man was set to face a judge Monday on charges he tried bringing a BB gun on a plane at Bradley International Airport last month.
According to a Transportation Security Administration spokesperson, Ricardo Perez, 34, was stopped by security on March 24 after he was found with a BB gun in his carry-on bag.
The TSA spokesperson identified Perez as a passenger but did not say where his intended destination was.
Perez was arrested by state police and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and tampering with airport/equipment.
The 34-year-old was released without having to post bond and was set to be arraigned Monday in Hartford Superior Court. His case was continued until May 16.
