Shreveport media (almost) blackout of Tech. Why?

Thank you KTBS, Channel 3/ABC, for covering Tech's Spring game. The Times and KSLA, Channel 12/CBS, are all about LSU-BR. ZERO coverage. Do they know that Baton Rouge has no clue they even exist?
I thinkl this has been covered in previous threads, but why the cultish following of LSU? It is a culture and world away from North Louisiana. Back in the day, LSU was mentioned, but NSU, Tech, and NLU were followed. The LSU fawning reminds me of the folks over to the east that are all about Alabama, but could not even find the U of A campus if you paid them...
