Mum reveals her hilarious mistake during her gender reveal – but savage trolls say her daughter will need therapy

A SECOND-TIME mum has revealed the hilarious mistake she made during her gender reveal – but savage trolls say her daughter will need therapy when she watches the clip back. 

Ashley took to TikTok to share the moment her family learned that they were expecting a little boy. 

However, people were more distracted by what the pregnant mum supposedly did to their little girl afterwards, with some claiming she actually pushed her daughter away.

Some have even suggested this is a sign she already has a new favourite child, or secretly wanted a son the first time round.

Known online as @ashleeybjaames, the content creator regularly shares life updates and parenting tips with her 1,300 followers. 

In a new reel, she said: “The moment Ava realised she was no longer the favourite.”

During the 10-second clip, Ashley, her partner and their daughter Ava are all seen staring at a cardboard box floating above their heads. 

The mum is seen crouching down holding her daughter as her husband pulls on a string attached to the box.

This causes blue balloons and streamers to appear, suggesting the pair are expecting a son. 

Ashley then attempts to stand up, and appears to hold on to her daughter for her. 

Unfortunately, the girl isn’t quite prepared for this and ends up moving in the other direction, before falling over her dad’s foot. 

The young girl then pulls herself up, before shrugging her shoulders and raising her hands, as if to question what just happened. 

While Ashley claims the entire thing was an accident, some TikTokkers claim the mum pushed her daughter, suggesting she was already second-best to their new baby. 

Below the video, Ashley commented: “I’ll never live this one down #itsajoke #momfail.”

The supposed mum fail attracted plenty of attention online, gaining more than 126,300 likes and 3.3 million views. 

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “After that, they took her and the video to the therapist.”

Another said: “That’s the moment she started plotting against her brother.”

“Ava will play this for you when she puts you in the home,” joked another. 

A third added: “Awww, she got up and was like ‘why? What happened? What did I do wrong’ with her hands.”

But while most found the moment entertaining, others weren’t impressed. 

“You should be ashamed,” commented another. 

Someone else put: ”You legit pushed her.”

Ashley replied: “It was legit an accident.”

She also confirmed that there were no hard feelings between the pair, adding: “Not pictured is the hugs and kisses after.”
