A FASHION fan has insisted that a bra isn’t always necessary, especially for a specific kind of top.
In fact, she would burn her bras if they weren’t so expensive.
Margaret French (@mrgtfrench), a Tennessee-based content creator, ditched the bra in a video shared with over 300,000 TikTok followers.
She got ready, adjusting her flowy peasant top before realizing she didn’t need the garment at all.
“Me: Realizing my bra is totally unnecessary in a peasant top,” she said.
The redhead pulled her white bra out of her top but not without a little “protest” from the garment.
“My bra: But the support! The lift! The separate!” she joked.
The influencer dropped the bra in response: “Me: I know, but do I need you to survive?”
The content creator went as far as to encourage her viewers to burn their bras.
“Burn your bras, ladies! (Not really, those were expensive),” she joked.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts.
“The only reason I wear one under peasant tops is because mine are on the more sheer side and I’m incredibly modest haha,” said one.
“My favorite thing about peasant tops,” agreed another.
“I’m only a 32D so don’t really need the support anyways but it’s so freeeeeeing.”
