I’m a professional declutterer – you need these hacks if your wardrobe’s a mess… the ‘wear again hook’ is a game changer

A DECLUTTERING pro has revealed her top tips for keeping your wardrobe organised – but it’s her ‘wear again hook’ idea that’s got people talking.

Steph Pase took to TiKTok to share seven useful tips she uses to keep her clothes and accessories in order.

This included using the KonMari fold to keep your clothes wrinkle-free and save space in your drawers.

However, it was her ‘wear again hook’ that she was labelled a ‘genius’ for.

She suggested adding two hooks where you can hang the stuff that’s too clean for the wash, but too dirty for your drawers, which will stop you dumping it on the bed or a nearby chair.

Known online as @stephpase, the savvy mum regularly shares home hacks and organisational tips with her 106,500 followers.

In a new reel, she said: “Today I’m going to be tackling the wardrobe, and I haven’t always had a decent-sized wardrobe, but along the way, I’ve picked up products, tips and hacks that have really, really helped me with storage and organisation.

“These are my favourites.”

First up – how stops her shoes from taking up the entire floor.

She continued: “Now the first one is a product from IKEA. These are called the SKUBB shoe containers, and I love these.

“I can actually fit two pairs of my shoes in these.”

Shoppers can pick a four-pack of the SKUBB shoe boxes, costing just £9, both online and in their local stores.

Her second tip though was a fan-favourite.

“Now this hack is going to save your floors and chairs from clothes.

“This is called the ‘wear again hook’ and I came up with this so many years ago, and it is amazing for clothes that you know you’re going to wear again.

“So things like uniforms and things that are just too clean to go into the wash, but too dirty to go into your drawer.

“Next up we have some simple storage containers which are so good for accessories and anything you just want to hide.”

Similar styles in both the hooks and boxes are available online from various retailers, including Shein, with prices starting at just £1.75 for the hooks and £2.75 for the boxes.

Her next tip focused on how to maximise your hanging space – and apparently, all you need is a cable tie.

She added: “Maximise your hanging space by grabbing a cable tie, or it can be a finger pull from a can of coke, and you can chuck on another coat hanger.”

The content creator then went on to reveal the various different ways she keeps the stuff in her drawers in order, suggesting different boxes, drawer dividers and folding techniques.

“Don’t even need to take me out on a date to see my undies drawer. These are some organisers I got from eBay.

“These wooden drawer dividers I absolutely love from the Little Label Co, and I use them for my bras and a lot of the kids’ clothes too.

“Lucky last, the KonMari fold. This has honestly saved so much space in my drawers, you have to give it a go.”

Fans loved her quick tips, with the video gaining more than 6,400 likes and 105,700 views.

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their thoughts and reactions, with one writing: “Omg the wear again hook is GENIUS.”

“Such good tips! I am trying the cable tie tip asap,” commented another.

A third added: “OMG the hooks for re-wearing clothes is my answer from the universe… or you! So thank you!”

Someone else put: “I’d need 1662832 wear again hooks.”
