Hot rods and classic cars to take over San Rafael
Take a trip down memory lane at Greg Borrelli’s annual May Madness Car Show and Parade. What began in 1986 as a small gathering of Borrelli’s hot rod friends has turned into the longest-running street rod show and parade in Northern California with hundreds of classic cars and hot rods.
Come check out the car show from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday on Fourth Street from Lincoln Avenue to D Street in downtown San Rafael. The event will also feature live music by high-energy band Neon Grey, Jane Blonde and the Goldfingers and others, and food and drinks. The car parade begins at 5 p.m. at A Street, goes up Fourth to H Street, then back down Fourth Street and disperses at Lincoln.
Admission is free. For more information, go to maymadnesssanrafael.com.
