Adam Schloer, 36, died on April 20 after an on-course accident. He was the owner of Heritage Creek Golf Course, a 9-hole public course, in Jamison, Pa.

A memorial fund is set up for Schloer on GoFundMe.com to support his wife a 3-year-old daughter. It continues to raise money, currently at $33,000, surpassing its original $20,000 goal. It reads, “Adam touched so many people’s lives during his time here. He was so loved and will be forever remembered and missed every day. Many hearts are broken and grieving the loss of such an incredible human. The gratitude we have for any assistance received to help memorialize Adam and care for his daughter in the difficult time ahead is immeasurable, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Schloer graduated from Methacton High School, Eagleville, Pa. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Shippensburg (Pa.) University.

According to his obituary, Scholer’s interests were in business, but he had a passion for golf. This passion led him to manage Heritage Creek where he fell in love with turf management and golf course sustainability. Schloer’s favorite thing about working at Heritage Creek was the people, which he considered an extension of his family.
