Mums rave about Sainsbury’s summer school uniform options that come in every colour & prices start at just £3.50
PARENTS have been left seriously impressed with Sainsbury’s summer school uniform offerings for little girls.
That’s because as well as the traditional gingham dresses they can wear in the warmer months, the supermarket shelves are also full of cute alternatives.
These include a matching checked two-piece, which is made up of a button up shirt with a sweet collar and frill and a paper bag style shorts in exactly the same pattern.
The shirt only costs £3.50, whereas the shorts are scanning for £5, bringing it to a very reasonable total of £8.50.
And the TU co-ords are available in a variety of colours, depending on what your child’s school allows them to wear.
One mum took to Extreme Coupons and Bargaining UK Facebook group to share the news.
Alongside snaps of the clothes, which are also available online, she wrote: “Saw these in Sainsbury’s as a great alternative to Gingham dresses.
“Available in blue, navy, yellow, lilac and green.”
And it wasn’t long before fellow parents were flooding the post with comments and saying how they loved that it meant their little one could run around in the playground comfortably.
One social media user wrote: “These are cute!”
Another person added: “How nice are these.”
And a third commented: “I love these!”
Others also branded them a “fantastic idea” and said they were happy to see Sainsbury’s leading the way.
While some tagged fellow parents and encouraged them to check out the supermarket’s new collection.
One said: “These are good for the girls,”
A second typed: “These are so cute. Might be easier than dresses.”
And a third wrote: “These are cool – little different to the dresses.”
Elsewhere, people were also keen to say they’d already bought them and couldn’t speak more highly of them.
One mum recalled: “The shorts are brilliant. My daughter used to wear them at primary school in the summer season.”
