Woman sparks debate after admitting she only washes her bed sheets & PJs every few months & people are grossed out
MOST of us have our cleaning routine, some people wash their bedding every week, while others hold out for two.
But one woman has left the internet stunned after admitting she only cleans her bed sheets and pyjamas every few months – or until there is a stain.
The young woman revealed she didn’t see the problem with not washing her bed sheets or pyjamas as she wasn’t ‘working out in them’[/caption] People were stunned by her confession[/caption]Taking to her TikTok account, @hallienicole1, the young woman not only revealed she washed her bedding and PJs infrequently – but also reckons everyone else is lying about how often they do it.
In one clip, Hallie revealed she was shocked to find out people actually wash their pyjamas.
She penned: “Wait are we seriously washing our pyjamas?
“I saw a girl saying she put hers under her pillow for when she wears them 2-3 days in a row and I was like TWO OR THREE?”
She revealed that she only wore two outfits to bed every night, one for hot weather, and another for cold.
But Hallie added that she only ever washed them if they had a midnight snack stain on them and couldn’t see why you would wash them for any other reason.
She continued: “Like I’m not working out in my sleep?
“Those clothes aren’t being exposed to the elements, literally give me one good reason for washing my pyjamas I don’t get it.”
People were absolutely stunned by her confession and quickly took to the comments.
One person wrote: “Insane behaviour and even more insane to admit to this.”
Another commented: “Are you the same type of person to not wash your sheets or pillowcases cus you don’t “work out in your sleep”
And it turns out, Hallie was also that person as well.
Responding to the comments, she posted another clip divulging when she washes her bedding.
“I wash my bedding when it feels dirty, which is usually when I get sick, if there is an unforeseen stain etc… which ends up being every couple of months” she added.
“I really do not understand how your beds are getting so dirty and tbh I don’t believe anyone who says they wash their sheets weekly.
“It takes me an hour just to put the bedding on my bed not to mention taking it off, washing, and drying.
“Do you people not have jobs?”
The videos have since gone viral with over one million views and started a huge debate on how often you should be washing your bedding and PJs.
One person wrote: “Notice how it feels dirty when you get sick, that’s the reason you got sick, foul.”
“No I mean if I’m sick then it feels dirty after as a result of being sick,” Hallie replied.
Another commented: “I wash my bedsheets every single week and only ever wear pyjamas two times in a row how do you live like this.”
“I don’t think I’ve washed my bed since like October,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “If you don’t have a washer and dryer I think it’s fine to go two months, sometimes it’s multiple loads! F that.”
Someone else added: “You shed skin/bodily oils while you sleep that just generally makes it unsanitary, did y’all not learn this stuff in school?”
“I have to wear clean clothes to bed I do not understand this,” claimed a sixth.
