Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP can demolish 2000 Guineas rivals at a big price
TEMPLEGATE takes on a blockbuster Saturday of racing confident of landing you some winners.

ROYAL SCOTSMAN (4.40 Newmarket, nap)
He would have caught Chaldean in a few more strides when they were first and second in the Dewhurst. The Cole runner gets an extra furlong to get the job done now and can reverse that form.
TWILIGHT CALLS (4.00 Newmarket, nap)
He has been off since finishing second in last year’s King’s Stand at Royal Ascot but should be primed for this comeback. Trainer Henry Candy is aiming him at that Group 1 again and he has a handy draw on ground that should be ideal.
TANMAAWY (2.50 Newmarket, treble)
He was beaten just a neck on comeback at Newbury 15 days ago and can go one better. He was up with a breakneck pace and did well to keep going. This trip is ideal and he has every chance from the same mark.

NEWMARKET

AZURE BLUE is the colour for Michael Dods. She improved last season, finishing with back-to-back wins over this course and distance.
She likes this trip on quick ground and has more to come.
Gale Force Maya was no match for the tip when they met in October but she has a good early-season record so could get closer today.
Perdika went close in a Bath Listed contest last time. That was over five furlongs but this distance suits better and William Buick takes over, which is a plus.
Fast Response looked rusty in that same Bath race and can do better although she prefers it soft.
Spring Feeling has decent form in Ireland and was last seen finishing third in a Group 3 on just her fourth run.

Last year’s winner Blackrod is down the weights and needed his return run at Kempton.
Oisin Murphy gets on board today and can steer him close despite a possibly moderate high draw.
Probe is in the next stall and he went close here at the Craven meeting. He’s has just two starts for Jennie Candlish so could progress again.
Spirit Of Light went well over 7f here latest and could be helped by the drop in trip.
Admiral D has yet to win in the UK but showed decent signs here last time and is on a nice weight in first-time cheekpieces. He’ll score before too long.

TOSHIZOU has the king of hold-up jockeys Jamie Spencer on board today and they should make a perfect team.
This son of Galileo was a good third over course and distance last time, winning the race in his group up the middle.
That was just his second run for Roger Fell after leaving Joseph O’Brien so he could have more to come.
Empirestateofmind was a place ahead of the tip last time and is a live contender again.
King Of Conquest won well in Bahrain last time. He’s up 7lb but won’t be far away.
Jimi Hendrix clocked a career best when winning a decent contest at Newbury last time.
That was in the mud but he won’t mind this quicker ground.
Majestic was a good fourth in the Lincoln and is back from the same mark.
He won the Cambridgeshire on his last visit here so clearly enjoys the track and trainer Jack Channon is in decent form.
Titian was beaten in a photo for the Spring Mile at Donny on comeback and a 2lb rise is more than fair.
He has every chance if handling this quicker surface.
Turntable has won his past two races here and is shortlisted over his favourite distance.

Manaccan improved through last season and was a Group 3 winner at Dundalk after winning an Ascot Listed contest.
This distance suits and all ground comes the same. There’s more to come with Frankie on board.
Silky Wilkie didn’t fire over six furlongs last time after winning a hot handicap at this trip.
He goes from the front and could hold on for a place.
Live In The Dream has taken his form up a notch already this season with wins at Lingfield and Pontefract.
He finished off strongly there and should handle these quicker conditions.
Vadream is one of my horses to follow this season but she’s likely to find this ground a bit quick unless we get plenty of rain.
Equilateral landed a good Haydock handicap over this trip in September and his best form would give him a chance in this higher grade.
Raasel is coming down in class and has shown his best over this trip.
4.40 2,000 GUINEAS
ROYAL SCOTSMAN would have caught Chaldean in a few more strides when first and second in the Dewhurst.

Auguste Rodin won the Futurity but may need further so Silver Knott looks a better bet to place for Charlie Appleby.

GOODWOOD

TIME INTERVAL has a happy habit of winning on his second run of the season and can repeat the trick.
He may have been 100-1 on comeback at Newbury last time but he went close to winning.
This trip suits and he has form on fast and slow ground.
Aussie Banker was a good second at Lingfield after a break and should be in the mix again.
Honiton comes from top connections. He hasn’t run since a poor effort when backed for a Royal Ascot handicap last June. A market move would be telling.
Maghlaak won a couple of novice contests last season, including over course and distance.
He hasn’t been clobbered for this handicap debut and is capable of improvement.
Farasi Lane had traffic problems at Lingfield on the back of a good Southwell win. He’s back below his last winning mark on turf.
Stay Well is best fresh and likes this trip so could figure.
THIRSK

THE TURPINATOR could be the answer to this tricky contest.
He was last seen going close on the AW at Newcastle and he won a decent prize at Goodwood last summer.
He has gone well fresh before and is off his last winning mark from a handy draw.
Veteran Safe Voyage needed his comeback in the Lincoln at Donny.
He signed off last season with fourth in a decent Ascot contest and is down the weights.
Autumn Festival won five in a row to finish last year and looked very rusty on return at Musselburgh.
He’ll come on for that run and he still looks on a fair weight.
Trainer David O’Meara also runs Pisanello who has been placing regularly.
He has a decent 5lb claimer on here and can go close again.
Northern Express wasn’t beaten far on comeback latest and has run well here before.
He has a chance along with Billyb who was second on his last visit here and stays this trip better than some of the others.
