After visiting the erosion-hit areas in Malda today, the West Bengal Chief Minister distributed land deeds to 80 people, who have lost their houses. Banerjee had raised the demand for a concrete action plan by the Centre during the second National Ganga Council Meeting held in Kolkata, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December 2022.
