The 1st OTB QUICK-PLAY GRAND PRIX COMPETITION
Thurs 4th May 2022-23
We had an unbelievable 19 players in the first of the 5 OTB Quick-Play Grand Prix nights! The player with the most points after the 5 events will be champion 22-23!
Included in the 19 players, we had 7 juniors taking part, including the defending champion, Rishi Vijayakumar J11! The future is looking good at Castlehill with all these juniors!
Rishi missed the 1st round and got a half point bye, but that did not stop him from knocking everybody down who stood in his way in the remaining 7 rounds to win on the night (7½)! Unbelievable performance and incredible talent!

There is still along way to go, but Rishi will take some stopping! Leyton Hackney and Euan Murray finished in equal 2nd place, but both lost to Rishi!
It seems the only danger to him is the “BYE!
