Mattress Mack pulled up to the Kentucky Derby in a sweet Secretariat jacket
As if there were any doubt, Mattress Mack arrived at the 2023 Kentucky Derby and he did so in style — again.
The Houston furniture magnate and big-time bettor showed up to Churchill Downs with a custom jacket celebrating the 50th anniversary of Secretariat’s triumphant run at the Kentucky Derby in 1973.
After last year’s $4 million flop on Run Happy, Mack has brought a whole team with him to pick a winner this time around. Between that and the energy of Secretariat, that should be enough for at least a little bit of luck.
Then again, this may be one of the most unpredictable Derby’s in years given how many horses have been scratched.
