Royal hangovers and very sore heads in Newcastle and Birmingham today
Revellers in red, white and blue took to the streets last night to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
Despite the wet and windy weather, pictures show people enjoying their night out in Newcastle and Birmingham in style.
Outfits included union jack dresses, fake crowns and even masks of the main man himself.
One lady was pictured wearing a red, white and blue body suit, complete with a blue wig, blue gloves and mini top hat.
Others wrapped commemorative flags around them for a bit of warmth as they hit bars and clubs.
Chilly winds and bursts of rain hit the UK yesterday, with temperatures dropping as low as 5°C.
The weather did not stop anyone from celebrating during the day either, as people turned out in their thousands to watch the coronation parade from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.
Many also gathered in Hyde Park and St James’s Park to watch the ceremony on big screens – albeit with umbrellas in tow.
