I paid just £20 and got the biggest haul from Farmfoods – the offers are so good and all top brand products too
FOOD is just one of the many things that’s increased in price over the last year as a result of the cost-of-living crisis.
But fans of Farmfoods will know that there are plenty of bargains to be had in store, meaning savings can be made and food bills can be slashed.
Savvy shopper Jamie got in on the action and hurried online to show off the mega food haul he nabbed for just £20 during a recent visit to the supermarket.
Taking to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, he shared a snap of his huge food shop laid out on his kitchen counter.
“All this for £20 in Farmfoods today!” he wrote.
“Had lots of offers and lots have long dates!”
The items in the image include a multi-pack of mini Ritz, lean bacon medallions, four lots of pot noodles, 2 x 3 packets of Nesquik drinks, four pots of jelly, tinned peaches and peanut butter.
He also got some chilli sauce, yoghurt and mint dressing, two bottles of BBQ sauce, mini rolls, Proper chips, Leibniz zoo biscuits and Robinsons Fruit Shoots.
It wasn’t long before social media users rushed to the comments section to praise Jamie for his bargain food haul.

“Brilliant,” enthused one.
A second penned: “Bargain! The Proper Chips at 29p, love Farmfoods. Going in there daily to see what deals there are now haha.”
A third noted: “That bacon is ace and at £1.49 not fatty I might go back for more and freeze them, I mixed when I bought them.
“Btw, great deal for all that!!”
Meanwhile, a fourth asked: “Wait what?! They have Proper crisps’? Please tell me they have BBQ flavour?! How much were they? And long date or not?!!
Jamie replied: “They were 29p last pack not sure on the date will have to check! These are the BBQ ones a share bag size!”
Elsewhere, a further social media user pointed out: “I bought a malt loaf in there for 29p – had a few days left on the date.”
