Maine officials smack the hand of the No Labels party (those useful fools for Trump 2024)

The self-described “nonextremist” third-party political group No Labels has received a warning from Maine’s secretary of state after it allegedly misrepresented itself to voters who may not have known they were enrolling in a new party. 

No Labels—which actually should wear a label or two (“addlepated fascist-pumpers” and “Donald Trump’s useful fools” spring immediately to mind)—was formed in 2010, allegedly as an alternative to extremists in both major political parties. Of course, this was well before one of those parties’ sole platform plank became “Donald Trump rules, democracy drools” and its members decided laughing along with a confirmed sexual assaulter as he mocks his victims is the height of comedy. (It’s clearly not—because if it were, Bill Cosby’s career would be going way better right now.)
