I’m a thicker redheaded Hooters girl – people make rude comments about my hair, I don’t know why girls are so mean
A HOOTERS server said she faces rude comments from trolls when they see her in uniform or learn she works at the restaurant.
She doesn’t let the criticism bother her, but she does have a question: why are people so mean?
On her TikTok channel, Kate (@katekaitkaitlinkaia13) documents the ups and downs of her everyday life.
That includes her job at Hooters and the sometimes-snarky comments that come with it.
In a video, Kate responded to a number of “innocent” questions in one fell swoop, and revealed the infuriating similarity they all have.
The obnoxious comments appeared on-screen as captions. They ranged from quips about her body to jabs at her financial status.
“I could never work at Hooters as a thicker girl,” one woman reportedly told Kate.
Another wasn’t sure Kate had the equipment to do the job.
Referring to Kate’s breasts, the rude acquaintance said, “They aren’t even fake.”
“Do you even make money as a waitress?” asked one person who had no issue prying into Kate’s financials.
Another didn’t approve of Kate working at the restaurant since she wasn’t single.
“I wouldn’t work there if I had a boyfriend,” the haughty commenter said.
People even nitpicked her hair color, arguing that the reddish-brown tones Kate favored couldn’t possibly fit in at Hooters.
“Your hair isn’t blonde,” they griped. “WTF are you doing there?”
Kate responded by lip-synching to a viral TikTok audio clip.
“Okay, well, that’s you,” she mouthed in response, rolling her eyes slightly at the annoying commentary.
“On the other hand, me?” Kate continued lip-synching. “I’m gonna turn up.”
The worst part was that the catty concern-trolling primarily came from other women.
“I don’t know why girls are mean,” a frustrated Kate wrote. “For what?”
