Stunned mum lists bonkers kids’ names in her child’s class – & if you though KayDence was bad wait until you meet Wayke
PICKING the perfect name for your kids can be tricky, after all, it’s a pretty big decision.
But one mum was left scratching her head when she saw some of the names other parents went with when her daughter brought home her school yearbook.
Posting in the Facebook group That name isn’t a tragedeigh, it’s a murghdyrr, the mum shared a list of the of the worst names she saw.
“Most names were surprisingly tame, but there were a few that had me scratching my head. Mostly just bad spellings,” she wrote.
The mum also found the older kids’ names were less adventurous compared the younger students.
“I also noticed that there’s more atrocities on the younger end than in the older kids,” she said.
Some of the names with unusual spellings included: Deklynn, Dextyr, Wylliam, LayDence, Jaemyson and Izabelluh.
But others were more interesting, like Wayke, Zephyrus, Kaspyn, Wraylyn and Avaughna.
“There were a few more I left out because they didn’t seem bad in comparison, but still not great,” the mum said.
She explained some names were in the yearbook a lot and all had different spellings.
“Things like, 30 spellings of Grayson and not one was correct,” she said.
After sharing some of the names people were shocked anyone would ever really use them.
“As an Isabella, no. That has got to be the worst spelling I’ve seen of my name,” one person commented.
A second said: “Why people are so obsessed about the letter Y?”
And another joked: “someone needs to remove x-y-z from the alphabet NOW.”
“This makes me angry somehow. Why do people do this to their kids?!” another wrote.
