La Paz program gives doctors small EVs made by Bolivian startup

LA PAZ, Bolivia: Last month, the municipality of La Paz launched the "Doctor In Your House" program, using a fleet of six EV's manufactured by Quantum Motors, Bolivia's only manufacturer of electric vehicles.

The program aims to bring doctors and patients closer together in neighborhoods far from the city center.

"It is a pioneering idea. It helps protect the health of those in need, while protecting the
