1st LD-Writethru: China's FDI inflow up 2.2 pct in first four months

BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Chinese mainland, in actual use, expanded 2.2 percent year on year to 499.46 billion yuan in the first four months of the year, the Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday.

In U.S. dollar terms, the FDI inflow went down 3.3 percent year on year to 73.5 billion U.S. dollars.
