The Jammu and Kashmir administration has placed high-profile security measures in advance of the G-20 meeting in Srinagar, including the installation of 1,000 CCTVs and the deployment of specialised forces. The police and paramilitary forces have erected checkpoints and barricades across the city to scuttle any protests and movement of militants in or out of the city.
