Man arrested on assault, weapon charges following stabbing in Enfield

A man was arrested on assault and weapon charges following a stabbing in Enfield on Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to Enfield Town Hall in the afternoon hours on a medical call and found a man bleeding heavily in front of the building, according to the Enfield Police Department.

Police later discovered the victim had been stabbed in the leg on Spring Street, which is just under a mile away.

An investigation led to the arrest of Timothy Lindsay, 32, of Enfield on charges of second-degree assault and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was held on a $750,000 bond and was expected to face a judge on Wednesday.
