Who is Beetlejuice?
Beetlejuice was born Lester Green on June 2, 1968, in New Jersey in the USA.
He is the second youngest child in his family and he has five siblings. They were raised by his mother Lille in Jersey City.
He was born with dwarfism and microcephaly, which is where the baby’s head is smaller than expected when they’re born.
He received his nickname Beetlejuice while working with Sean Rooney as he resembled a character from the famous movie.
How did Beetlejuice become famous?
Beetlejuice was first discovered in July 1999, when a man called Sean went to the Howard Stern Studios to promote his business.
One of the performers with Sean was Beetlejuice. Stern Show executive producer Gary Dell’Abate recalled this moment.
Gary said: “He had this one guy who he kept pushing to the front who was … very articulate and all the way in the back was Beetlejuice,”
Beetlejuice would go on to appear on Howard’s show on many occasions, quickly becoming popular with staff and fans of the show.
He became a member of Howard’s wack pack, earning the title of the Greatest Wack Packer in 2015.
He went on to feature in many Hollywood movies like Scary Movie 2 and Bubble Boy.
