I’m a patio expert – here’s the cheap as chips everyday product that will clean up your patio in minutes
IF you’ve got a dirty patio to clean save your coin, there is a ‘cheap as chips’ product that you can use that won’t break the bank.
A patio expert has shared the product that you probably already have somewhere in your home which will get the job done in no time.
Graham Wirral West shared the hack in a YouTube video online.
He said: “Patio cleaning, forget expensive specialist cleaning fluids, forget jet wash.”
The DIY fan admitted a jet wash would be ideal for cleaning a patio but if you are on a budget there is a cheaper option.
“Although I would recommend jet washing first then let dry, to get out these dark / black marks that seem to be algae or moss growing in the rough crevices of the stone work.”
Graham confessed he uses ordinary household bleach to clean his patio.
He said: “Try ordinary cheap as chips household bleach.”
Whether you’re a hater or a lover, Graham says that bleach will tackle whatever you have on your patio.
“The householder cleaner everyone loves to hate, it’s the Donald Trump of domestic cleaners, not wanted in most places and certainly not politically correct! But works fine if not a little brutal.”
The patio expert did say to use the product carefully and make sure you only apply it where you need it.
“So use with care follow instructions, don’t be squirting the stuff willy nilly all over the garden furniture and kids bikes.”

Graham says you really don’t need too much of the bleach to get your patio clean.
The patio pro only adds a few squirts of the bleach on his patio grout where there is the most dirt and grime.
He then goes in with a hard bristle broom and scrubs away all the grime.
Graham also mentioned it’s good to leave the bleach for up to 20 minutes to allow it to really get into the crack and crevices of your patio.
