BBC Breakfast fans slam ‘rude and abrasive’ Naga Munchetty – raging ‘I bet she’s a nightmare to work with!’
BBC BREAKFAST fans have slammed Naga Munchetty for being ‘rude and abrasive’ during an interview this morning.
The journalist and presenter, 48, was hosting the flaghship show alongside Charlie Stayt, 60.
Both presenters brought viewers the latest news from across the country.
And in light news, BBC Breakfast covered the recent unveiling of the new Gladiators ahead of the beloved show’s return later this year.
Team GB sprinter Harry Aikines Aryeetey aka ‘Nitro’ and bodybuilder Livi Sheldon aka ‘Diamond’ joined Naga and Charlie live in the studio.
However, it appears Naga has once again rubbed viewers up the wrong way with her questioning.
During the chat, she turned to one of the Gladiators and said: “So are you going to be then….the peacemaker Livi, or Diamond, what do you want me to call you Livi or Diamond?”
“Nitro, what are you? Are you going to kinda get involved in the melee,” she then asked.
Reacting to the interview, fans took to social media to slam the seasoned presenter.
One said: “Naga is so bloody rude, I can imagine she’s a bloody nightmare to work with.”
A second said: “I find Naga Munchetty very abrasive.”
“Always has been [rude] – she has “small person syndrome”. She revels in being rude,” said a third viewer.
While a fourth commented: “Naga is being Naga again.”
Yesterday Naga was blasted for over an “inappropriate comment” aimed at her BBC Breakfast co-star Carol Kirkwood.
After a report concluded about a police dog called Arnie, Charlie complimented the pooch.
“It’s a beautiful dog isn’t it,” he said as Naga agreed with him.
She added: “I just love that look, PC Arnie what a good name, no messing hey?”
But as Carol appeared on the studio screens standing by, Naga added: “Another person you just don’t, don’t, don’t – just don’t mess with is Carol Kirkwood.”
Laughing it off, Carol said: “Thank you Naga, good morning to you, what a gorgeous dog I completely agree with Charlie there.”
BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One and iPlayer.
