US says it will send $500 million in arms to Taiwan

WASHINGTON D.C.: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has told lawmakers that the US will soon send additional security assistance to Taiwan.

"The US will soon provide significant additional security assistance to Taiwan through the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) that Congress authorized last year," Austin said.
