Celebrating Success of Teams Using V1 BASEBALL
In the fast-paced world of sports, teams are constantly on the lookout for ways to elevate their performance and achieve remarkable results. Below, we are highlighting the recent accomplishments of collegiate baseball and softball teams that have embraced V1 BASEBALL, showcasing the impact it has had on their success.
Wake Forest Baseball – Number 1 ranked collegiate baseball team for the first time in program history, with a .843 win percentage, the highest in the country. Clinched the 2023 ACC Regular Season Championship title for the first time since 1963. Started the season with a 13 game win streak and set a program record with 40 regular season wins.
Indiana University Softball – Earned 2nd seed in NCAA Regional Championship after falling to top seeded Northwestern at the Big Ten Championship. Set a new program record for longest win streak in program history at 19 wins. Four players were also named All-Big Ten Tournament Team.
University of Texas Softball – Made an appearance in the Big 12 Championship game for the first time since 2005, and was selected as the 13th overall seed for the NCAA D1 Softball Championship.
University of Michigan Baseball – Currently tied for 4th in the ultra competitive Big Ten conference, Mitch Voit was named Big Ten Freshman of the week for the second time this season. 4 of his teammates were also named to the Big Ten player of the week list at least once this season.
Morehead State University Baseball – In contention for securing a regular season title and bye in the first round of the OVC Tournament. Ryley Preece was named OVC Player of the Week for the second time, making it six times a Morehead player was named to this list this season.
Baldwin Wallace Baseball – Regular season OAC Champions, and selected for 2nd seed in the NCAA DIII Baseball Regional Championship. Coach Brian Harrison was selected as Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, and ten players were named to the All-OAC team.
