CONSPIRACY theorists believe they have spotted a TIME TRAVELLER at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

A TikTok user rewatched the opening ceremony in China and noticed a participant wearing what appears to be an Apple AirPod, which wasn’t released until 2016.

No one else had the same accessory as part of their costume and the user suggested this man came from the future with new technology.

That led to a raft of reactions with various observers letting their imaginations run wild.

One viewer posted: “AirPods came out in 2016 though.”

Another commented: “I’m confused.”

A third wrote: “That is crazy… No one else has an AirPod.”

This fan said: “I know everyone’s got those wired black ones.”

And that one added: “This has gotta go viral.”

However, there were also some who were quick to note how unlikely that is to have happened in the Olympics.

Some argued there was a cable attached to the headphone but wasn’t visible due to the quality of the video.

Others believe it was an off-brand product or a simple Bluetooth device.

One viewer said: “Bluetooth earbuds existed for a long time before AirPods.”

Another commented: “It’s probably just those off brand apple headphones from China.”

And one more argued: “Once again not real. They are wired, you can’t see because of the quality.”
