MasterChef viewers slam ‘passive aggressive’ John Torode and Gregg Wallace for comments towards contestants
MASTERCHEF viewers have slammed John Torode and Gregg Wallace for their ‘passive aggressive’ comments towards the contestants.
The hit BBC One cooking competition aired its latest episode on Tuesday night as things heated up.
Viewers watched as the remaining eight contestants all battled it out in the semi-finals.
MasterChef came from the Fire Service College in Gloucestershire, one of the world’s leading fire-training facilities.
With many of the brave men and women risking their lives in the line of duty, the contestants honoured their work with a celebratory lunch.
However, the pressure was on as they all split into teams of two and were tasked with cooking for a large crowd.
Watching over them all were judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
As both chefs offered advice and spoke to the contestants during the process, viewers at home weren’t happy.
They took to social media to slam the pair and accused them of being “passive aggressive” with the hopefuls.
One said: “Oh shut up you eggg head with your faux “ooh this is getting tense” bulls***.”
A second commented: “Passive aggressive Gregg and John on these mass catering tasks is pretty tiresome.”
“Bloody hell Gregg don’t be such a debbie downer,” said a third.
While a fourth remarked: “Not enjoying Gregg aggressively shouting at stressed contestants “how are you feeling right now?” There in a f***ing timed competition, you muppet.”
MasterChef continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
