Barricaded suspect taken into custody in Plainville

Police in Plainville took one person into custody Thursday morning following an incident involving a barricaded suspect.

Plainville police Lt. Nicholas Mullins said the suspect was taken into custody “without incident.” This came after police told residents to avoid an area of Plainville because of the investigation.

Mullins said more information was expected to be released later Thursday.
