I wanted some cute stylish nails & paid £40 for them – they’re such a hideous fail everyone’s saying the same thing
A WOMAN was left horrified after asking for sleek, stylish nails at the salon and then seeing the end result which looked nothing like the photo.
After uploading a photo of the nails Samantha Mae got, many people said they would have refused to pay.
In a video, she shared a comparison of “what I asked for” and “what I got.”
Samantha had wanted pale pink, square-topped nails in a glossy finish.
She certainly got a square nail tip, but that was where the similarities ended.
The messy nail job left her with paint and peeling skin around on her cuticles and they weren’t a sleek shape.
Samantha added on her @sammymaen account: “This is AFTER he ‘fixed’ it and was rude AF.
“Still charged me $50 (£40) for the set, and my right thumb is bleeding lol.
“First time going to the salon in a year instead of DIY-ing it, and this is why.”
Her video has racked up over a thousand likes and people were shocked on her behalf.
One viewer wrote: “I would have thrown hands girl.
“I can’t believe they did that to you.”
A second added: “I’m sorry but I would not pay for this. That’s a joke.”
And a third commented: “Omg ouch. No way.”
