Turkish President Erdogan Extends Rule With Runoff Vote Win
Istanbul - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has a new five-year term in hand after prevailing in a runoff election that opposition members hoped would unseat him amid a cost-of-living crisis.
Erdogan won Sunday's second round with 52.2% of the vote, besting opponent Kemal Kilicdaroglu's 47.8%.
