Pakistani central bank's forex reserves fall 119 mln USD

ISLAMABAD, May 25 (Xinhua) -- The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said its foreign exchange reserves had decreased 119 million U.S. dollars.

During the week ending on May 19, the total foreign exchange reserves of the Pakistani central bank fell to around 4.2 billion dollars, the SBP said in a statement on Thursday.

The decrease was "due to external debt repayments," the statement added.
