The ticket holder matched all six numbers which are: 19, 24, 28, 33, 41, 54 and the bonus ball was 48.

However, it is not known where the person is from.

The total amount is £5,076,717.

According to the National Lottery, a second person bagged £1million after they matched five numbers and the bonus ball.

The biggest sum ever to be won by a single ticket holder was listed as £42million in 1996.

Gareth Bull, who won £41million in 2012, asked his friends to help him build a manor house with a pool, bar and games room.

The builder bulldozed his bungalow to make room for the luxury property.

He posted on Facebook at the time: “Bungalow down, garage roof on — and can just about see the pub.”

Sue Davies scooped an incredible £500,000 after she purchased a lottery ticket to mark an end to shielding during the pandemic.

While Sandra Devine won £300k after she thought she had her usual £100 National Lottery Scratchcard in 2021.

“At first I thought we’d won £100 and my husband thought it was £1,000. When I found out we had won £300,000 I was so shocked,” she said at the time.

Camelot has urged players to check their National Lottery account through the app or on the website.

However, there is no rush as the lucky Brit has six months to claim it if they haven’t already.

The winnings will be passed over to the good causes fund if no one comes forward.

If you think you have won, you can call the official line on 0333 234 50 50 to make the claim.
