A YOUNGSTER has revealed his grand plan to turn his teenage side hustle into a thriving business in just four years.
Rohan James has got his eyes firmly set on the prize and believes he has the recipe for success – and earning six figures – nailed.
The 18-year-old, from Australia, ploughed all of his energy into his lawn care business shortly after completing his studies.
He was keen to merge his passion for gardening with his thirst to become an entrepreneur and decided to take the plunge.
Rohan explained he started off by purchasing a cheap lawn mower and a grass strimmer from a budget hardware store.
But as his clientele grew, he was able to splash out on more modern tools to complete his services.
The teen used a simple business model – but warned ” like any business, it takes a lot of effort and consistency to build.”
Yet his hard work seems to be paying off, as Rohan says his lawn care firm is raking in nearly £15,000 each month.
His success has spurred him on to expand his side hustle even further – and he believes it has the potential to earn him even more cash.
The teen has concocted a business plan in the hopes of mentoring other young entrepreneurs keen to develop their side hustles.
In a TikTok video, he explained his proposal of how his green-fingered firm will be turning over £522,000 in just four years from now.
He told his 77,000 followers: “After 11 months in business, we currently turn over $22,000 (£11,500) to $28,000 (£14,600) a month.
“It works out to $300,000 (£155,000) a year. So, how do we get to $1million? Here’s the plan.”
Rohan then shared the three topics he intends to focus on to boost his business profits.
He said: “One, continue to implement more systems and procedures for team management, scheduling and accounting.
“Two, scale our marketing budget and improve marketing strategies.
“Three, hire more staff, improve training processes and management skills.”
He told social media users he was “excited to see where this journey takes him” as they flooded the comment section with praise.
One wrote: “Keep it up man! I believe in you. Can’t wait to see you in four years Mr Millionaire.”
Another said: “This guy knows how to explain how to do it. Others just never tell you. Awesome job.”
A third added: “I’m glad you actually have a realistic and effective plan. I have no doubt you will be able to meet your goal.”
And a fourth said: “I respect the hustle you have a good head on your shoulders. Stick with the plan!”
