‘Distraught’ family pays tribute to woman found dead in River Severn
Tributes have been paid to a woman whose body was discovered in a river in Wales.
Natalie Dean was found dead in the water outside Llanidloes, in Powys, at about 4pm on Sunday.
The family of the 34-year-old said they were ‘distraught’ by the loss ‘our daughter and sister’.
In a statement, they said: ‘We are distraught by the loss of our daughter and sister Natalie Dean, and she will be missed by us all.
‘We want like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time. It has meant a lot to the whole family.
‘We would now like time to grieve and would ask to be given privacy in which to do so.
‘As a family, we encourage members of the public to support the police and contact (them) if you have any information of relevance.’
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that a 46-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in custody.
