CT man arrested after allegedly assaulting wife with milk jug, pouring milk all over house

A Ledyard man faces a domestic violence charge after local police say he assaulted his wife with a gallon milk jug and poured milk on her and throughout the house.

Gregory Startz, 38, was arrested Sunday on one count of disorderly conduct, the Ledyard Police Department said Monday.

According to police, Startz’s wife called the police at about 9:41 p.m. and reported that she had just been assaulted with a milk jug and had milk poured all over her. Officers responded to the couple’s Lucienne Way home and found milk covering “the entirety” of the dining room and kitchen area.

Police noted that Startz appeared intoxicated.

Startz was taken into custody on the disorderly conduct charge and was expected to appear Monday in New London Superior Court.
