He told his co-stars he made his decision as she was “very beautiful” and that they’ve had “easy conversations”.
Fans rejoiced while sharing their thoughts on Twitter, with one writing, “Thank god Zach saved Catherine from Andre the red flag.”
Another added: “Ofc they’re gonna have bad pasts and red flags they’re MEN.”
Noting the Dudley-native’s rage, someone else penned: “André’s ego was just bruised that she was chatting with another guy that’s not him.”
More chimed in with: “Zachariah and Catherine vibing then Andre comes along,” and, “We can’t let Andre block Catherine and Zach again it’s not even been 48 hours.”
In tonight’s episode Love Island’s sexy new bombshell is sure to send shockwaves through the villa when she rocks up.

Whilst relaxing on the sunloungers, André receives a text which reads: “André, Whitney is waiting for you at the beach for a champagne date! Please get ready to leave the Villa. #BigDayForDre #BaeWatch.”
Unable to hide his excitement, he exclaims in the beach hut: “You’ve made my day!”
Huddling together with the boys, they give him one final pep talk. Tyrique Hyde says: “You got this. You’re the man, be yourself. Bring it home for the lads.”
