Top golfers from over a dozen countries have converged on the Los Angeles Country Club greens for the 2023 US Open. If you're tuning in, we'll show you how to watch the US Open live streams, free and premium options included.

The golf major started June 15 and is running through June 18, the tee times for this year's tournament are a little tricky in the US. NBC is staggering coverage across three different channels. On the upside, that gives you plenty of options for tuning in. In addition to the United States, we'll show you where to watch the US Open in the UK, Canada, Australia, or anywhere else in the world you happen to be. You can watch some of the teeing free using a VPN, too. We'll show you how to use one of those further down the story, but first, here's a quick rundown of all your live streaming options.

Matt Fitzpatrick returns to the US Open as a defending champion, winning 2022's tournament in a one-shot finish. Former majors champion Scottie Scheffler leads sports bookie odds to win it all, followed closely by Jon Rahm.

We'll also see the masterful Brooks Koepka at work to try and notch a third US Open trophy after winning two consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018. A win would put him in company with Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only golfers to win the US Open and PGA Championship on three occasions. (Koepka won his third PGA Championship at the 2023 tournament in May.)

How to watch US Open live streams in the US

NBC will air the US Open across three channels within the US. Most of the tournament will be available on NBC (freely available over-the-air and with all cable packages) and its streaming service Peacock. Peacock will exclusively stream the morning rounds on most days, except for the third round.

The afternoon rounds on the first two days will air exclusively on the cable-only USA Network. You'll find a complete schedule breakdown of what's airing, when, and where further down this story. New to Peacock? It costs just $4.99 monthly for ad-supported access to all its content and live streams.

If you don't have cable and want to watch the US Open rounds exclusive to USA Network, you'll need to sign up for a live TV streaming service like Sling. Sling Blue has NBC and USA Network; new subscribers get their first month for $20 (50% off).

How to watch US Open live streams in the UK

Sky Sports is broadcasting the US Open in the United Kingdom. You can watch the US Open on Sky's NOW TV streaming service if you don't have cable. You'll find a dedicated sports package that includes Sky Sports Golf for £34.99 monthly. With no contractual commitments, you can cancel once a champion is crowned.

How to watch US Open live streams in Canada

Want to watch the US Open in Canada? The Sports Channel, or TSN, will be your best friend throughout the tournament. Most local cable packages include the channel, and you can log into the TSN app or TSN.ca using your provider's credentials.

In addition, TSN is streaming "featured groups" across all four days of the US Open over the network's streaming service, TSN+, which is freely accessible as a limited-time preview. You'll miss some of the less exciting matches going this route, but there should be plenty of highlights to fill the gaps.

How to watch US Open live streams for free in Australia

Taking advantage of various free trials in Australia means you can watch the US Open for free. And if you're not in Australia right now, simply use a VPN to tune in from anywhere. Just remember to cancel before your trial ends if you don't want to start paying for continued use of the service. Take a look below for more details.

Fox Sports will show the US Open in Australia. The channel is included in most Foxtel packages, and you can watch on the go by signing into the Foxtel Go app using your cable login. Or, you can sign up for the streaming-only Foxtel Now free trial if you're not already a subscriber. After the 10-day trial ends, Foxtel is offering its All Packs bundle, which includes the Sports pack, for AUS$49 monthly for your first 12 months (normally AUS$104).

If you're looking for a cheaper option for your long-term sports need, you'll also want to consider Kayo Sports. It carries Fox Sports and supports streaming on up to two devices concurrently for AUS$27.50 per month. There's no commitment, and you can try the service free for seven days. If you're not in Australia, you must use a VPN to access these options.

How to watch US Open live streams free from anywhere

Live in a country that isn't broadcasting the US Open? There's no universally free streaming option for worldwide viewers, but you can use a VPN to access the limited Canadian broadcast free on TSN+ or maybe the free trial options at Australia's Kayo Sports or Foxtel Now services.

If that won't work for you, you can also go this route to sign up for inexpensive streaming services like Peacock and Sling TV in the US or NOW TV in the UK. These are generally locked to residents within those countries, but anyone can access them using a VPN.

We recommend ExpressVPN if you need some guidance. It's our top pick among the best VPNs thanks to its ease of setup, thousands of global servers, and trustworthy privacy policy, all for a reasonable monthly cost.

A VPN, short for virtual private network, routes your device's internet traffic through any global server you want. As a result, your device will appear to connect from within that country, effectively knocking down the geofencing barriers that would otherwise prevent you from accessing these streaming services.
