Southern Baptists Approve Stricter Ban On Female Pastors

The Southern Baptist Convention, the largest Protestant Christian denomination in the U.S. and widely considered a bellwether for evangelism in the nation, preliminarily voted Wednesday to more explicitly bar women from serving as pastors.
