The US and India are likely to agree to jointly manufacture fighter jet engines during the visit next week. The deal, if approved, would involve General Electric partnering with HAL to produce engines for the Tejas light-combat aircraft. US NSA Jack Sullivan during his trip here this week said that the US was trying to remove hurdles in defence trade.
