In a letter to Brij Lal, the BJP Rajya Sabha MP who is the chairman of the panel, O'Brien said the recent incidents of violence in Manipur had raised concerns about the safety and wellbeing of the people residing in the region. "Reportedly, many are dead and thousands have been displaced," he wrote.
