Singh's residence was targeted by a mob on May 25 too. Security forces had prevented the mob from assembling at the time. The mob demanded an early solution to the ethnic conflict between the Meitei and Kuki communities, an officer said. The mob accused all the ministers and MLAs of not doing enough to end the Manipur crisis.
