A PETITE Hooters girl has given her viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her job, where she’s not the shortest waitress at the location.
She said that she doesn’t mind because the other tiny woman is her “wife.”
Destiny Loren (@destinyl) is a 20-year-old Hooters girl based in Florida.
In a TikTok, the four-foot-nine waitress gave viewers a glimpse at some of her most memorable moments working at the food franchise.
She specially called them her “moments as a Hooters girl that have altered my brain chemistry permanently.”
The curly-haired woman shared several photos that pertained to sexual harassment at her job, after-hours fun with coworkers, uniform adjustments, tipping, and more.
In one image, she introduced viewers to a fellow Hooters girl at her restaurant who was an inch shorter than her.
The duo posed together in a blurry photo, where their respective heights were written over their signature uniform-clad bodies, and the other woman’s head was cut off.
The subtitle at the top of it read: “Met a b***h shorter than me?? She’s my wife now.”
“You have a wife actually?” a fan inquired in the comments.
Calling the other woman her wife simply meant that they were super close.
Destiny also shared many images of times when her boundaries were crossed while wearing low-cut and skin-bearing T-shirts as part of her uniform.
Many viewers were upset to hear about the harassment she faced while on the clock.
“Y’all Hooters and Twin Peak girls deserve so much more. I’m so sorry y’all get harassed while just trying to work,” a TikTok user wrote.
“I don’t think Hooters pay enough to continuously get harassed,” another chimed in.
“So have you all ever thought about your workplace and how that promotes this type of behavior? Just a thought,” a troll commented.
“Just because we wear uniforms that are more revealing does not mean this is the behavior we welcome. It’s a family restaurant,” she replied.
