Britney Spears is opening up about her decision to “quit the business.”

The 41-year-old “…Baby One More Time” pop star told her fans that she never intended to perform again in a since-deleted post on social media back in September 2022.

She addressed that decision in a new post on social media, revealing what has become “almost like a part time job” for her in recent months.

In a post on Instagram on Friday (June 16), Britney joked about her career alongside a meme that read “I walk around like everything is fine, but deep down, inside my show, my sock is sliding off.”

“I know I said I quit the business but doing Instagram is almost like a part time job,” she wrote in the caption. “So I’m still here with my sock sliding deep inside my shoe.”

If you missed it, last month Britney seemingly alluded to rumors that she got breast implants as a young star. She also showed off her skills with languages while talking about her body in another post.
