D-backs use big 8th inning to top Guardians

Jake McCarthy hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning and Corbin Carroll belted a two-run blast later in the frame to help the Arizona Diamondbacks notch a 6-3 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday night in Phoenix.

Christian Walker added a two-run homer and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a solo shot for the Diamondbacks, who have won two straight games following a three-game slide.
