We transformed our ‘unique’ house just 10 days after getting the keys – people say it looked like a crime before
A NEW homeowner has shared the dramatic home transformation she was able to complete in just 10 days.
Although she admitted there was still a long way to go, the content creator said she was proud of the work she had completed.
Maddison Wood said in a TikTok video online: “So proud of what we’ve achieved in the last 10 days and so grateful to everyone that’s helped us the house is really coming together, but still got lots more to do.”
It was clear from the before photos that Maddison had her work cut out for her.
When asked about the previous owner’s style she said: “They definitely had…. unique tastes.”
Maddison first started by showing her followers the before and after photos of the living room.
She said: “What a DIFFERENCE – this is the room closest to being “finished” (it’s nowhere near finished). I’m obsessed.”
The new homeowner also revealed the house came with a box room that she would be using as a makeup room.
She said: “Not much progress – at least now I have somewhere to sit and get ready in the morning – not a priority room at the moment.”
Maddison assured her followers that her bedroom did in fact have furniture despite the pictures she shared.
She said: “FINALLY feels like a bedroom – we do have bed and furniture in here but forgot to take a photo when it was all put back in – feels fresh – can’t wait for the blinds.”
The new homeowner confessed her bathroom still didn’t feel quite right.

She said: “Our new bath is in – current work in progress – hoping more have been done by the time I get home tonight lol – still doesn’t feel comfortable in this room .”
Maddison said her hallway/stairs transformation was her favourite
She said: “Perhaps my favourite transformation so far – again nowhere near finished by the DIFFERENCE with this view – just love it
Lastly the homeowner shared her hallway/entryway transformation.
She said: “So much brighter – obsessed with this flooring makes the hallway feel wider and more open – proud of myself for fitting this flooring… there is a couple of dodgy ones but I’ll fix them .”
Maddison’s home transformation gained over 900,000 views online.

Maddison replied: “Knew I should’ve kept the 50 year old carpets and mustard coloured walls look much better with a clean slate now so we can choose our own colours!”
