The Scotch whisky market grew 33% year-on-year to 7.5 million cases (of nine litres each) in 2022, showed the latest data from global alcohol market analysts IWSR sourced from industry executives. In 2020, India consumed 3.9 million cases of the premium whisky made in Scotland.
