A war of words erupted between MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai over the issue of ‘adjustment politics’ at a district-level meeting of the BJP in Belagavi on Sunday. Many of the old guard in BJP claim the issue was a big rea-son for the party’s debacle in the recently concluded assembly elections.
