New US diplomatic provocations fuel tensions with China

US Secretary of State Blinken’s trip to China, supposedly to ease tensions, has been swiftly followed by Biden’s denunciation of Xi as “a dictator” and the fuelling of allegations of Chinese spying from Cuba.
